I'm Eugene Tay

and I will find a way or make one

Who Am I?

I consider myself a visionary and a creator. I'm best known for being the founder of Monsters Under the Bed (2006 - 2016) and Supernatural Confessions (2015 to present).

I have a particular set of skills; skills acquired over a very long career; skills that make me infinitely valuable to any organisation that requires a charismatic leader with strong business acumen, raw creative talent and the ability to shape vision into a compelling product that the world can relate to.

Education / Certifications
  • Nottingham Trent University - BSc in Multimedia Network Engineering (Hons)
    Graduated 2003

  • National Institute of Education - Certificate in Pedagogy for Arts Training, Essentials of Learning and Teaching
    Obtained 2013

  • Singapore Tourism Board - License No. 5670 Tour Guide
    Obtained 2024
Career Highlights
  • Broke through the billion dollar tuition industry and established a new market for creative thinking and value-based learning. The business started in 2006 with a capital of 500 dollars and brought in revenue of over a million dollars at its peak. The Imagination N Knowledge (INK) workshop was voted as one of the most popular and unique holiday programmes by respected influencers in the parenting industry. In 2017, Temasek Foundations selected me as one of the only two companies in Singapore to design a values-mindset curriculum to be piloted in schools nationwide.

  • Conceptualised and produced Singapore’s first heritage board game and presented a special commemorative copy to the late S.R. Nathan who was the presiding president of Singapore then. The product won the National Heritage Board HI2P initiative in 2009. I was invited to attend the Heritage Summit in 2011 to present my ideas on reinventing education.

  • Created Asia’s first decentralised publishing ecosystem that gave thousands of talented young minds the platform to express their talent. This initiative had the support of partners like Starhub’s innovation arm, I-cube, UK’s award winning publishing platform Booktique, and the National Arts Council. In 2010, I represented Arts and Culture as a torchbearer in the Youth Olympics Games in recognition for contributing towards the youth community in literary arts.

  • One of the early adopters of blockchain and crypto users when Bitcoin was below USD 500, back when startup founders were bullish about a new world of decentralised finance. I became a prominent face and speaker on this subject matter and sat on board some professional blockchain projects as their advisor. One of those successful projects still in use is the ride hailing brand, TADA. I retired from the scene in 2019 when the influx of scams and hacks, flooded the market turning what was to be a revolutionary breakthrough in Fintech into a cesspool for the dengenerate investors to gamble in, overshadowing legitimate businesses.
